Updating data to quicken website

It is no longer possible to convert versions of Quicken older than Quicken 1998; we recommend that you open a new data file in the latest version of Quicken, for stability.

Quicken for Mac products older than 2007 are not supported for conversion; however, if you have a data file from an older version of Quicken for Mac, you can attempt to update to the latest Mac version.

Check the bank website for notices, and check your email for a message from your financial institution regarding planned outages, maintenance or scheduled downtime.

You may simply need to wait a few hours before you can complete a download.

Version A Quicken version is the full version of Quicken software that you’ve purchased and installed on your system.

For example, Quicken for Windows Premier 2016 is a version of Quicken.

This is a simple and obvious one, so check first to make sure your connection to the internet is working.

Often, banks and online brokerages will post a notice on their website or send out an email alert to customers if they will be performing any maintenance that will impact your access to your data.

Do not install your new version until you complete these steps: You will need to download Quicken 2013 for Windows and use it to open and convert your Quicken 2004 - 2009 file.

Then, open the Quicken 2013 file in the latest version of Quicken to complete the conversion.

Visit a website you go to often (a search website such as Google or Bing will work).

If you're able to connect to the site and perform a search, then your internet connection itself is likely not the problem.
